CertovoBot

CertovoBot is the crawler behind Certovo, an independent, point-in-time review of public storefront signals: crawlability, page metadata, caching, redirects and similar technical hygiene. Certovo is an Innovon Group Corp product.

How it identifies itself

• User-Agent: CertovoBot/1.2 (+https://certovo.com/bot)
• IP address: 138.197.49.247

If traffic claims to be CertovoBot but comes from any other address, it is not ours.

How it behaves

• It reads robots.txt first and follows the CertovoBot group if present, otherwise the * group.
• It sends GET requests only. It never submits forms and never touches cart, checkout or sign-in pages.
• It waits at least 3 seconds between requests to the same host, honors Retry-After, and makes at most 60 requests per site per run.
• It stops on any challenge, CAPTCHA or block. It never circumvents them, never changes its User-Agent and never rotates IP addresses.
• It retries at most once, and only after a network fault before any response. It never retries after a 403, a 429 or a challenge.
• It does not collect personal data, review text or reviewer names.

Opting out

To block CertovoBot from your whole site, add this to your robots.txt:
